Image Hunters Stock Photography was established in 2007 by Hakan Guney and Alper Ayik in Sydney Australia. The primary function of the business is to provide high quality and versatile Sydney photographs for the professional markets.
HAKAN GUNEY, EDITOR
 Founder, editor and head photographer of Image Hunters, Hakan GUNEY, studied Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Visual Arts and Photography. Started his photography career 15 years ago, Hakan experienced all branches of professional photography. After mastered in documentary and photojournalism he worked in a photography laboratory for 6 years as the manager. In this period, while mastering his wedding photography techniques, he later founded his own photography agency. Continuing his work in the agency, he experienced fashion, commercial and portrait photography. After his permanent arrival to Sydney in 1999, Hakan kept photographing this beautiful city which he loved. Recently, he got 2006 North Sydney Photographic Art Prize, 2 categories honor prize on 2006 International Photography Award (LUCIE) , 2006 International Venice Photography Awards ( portrait category, silver prize) and 2006 Red Lens International finalist .Currently, while he is working in Photogenic Photography laboratory as the manager, he continues to work as a freelance photographer. Believing in “ Each photo frame is responsible from itself” philosophy, he takes attention to take photos at the right time in the right way, and makes effort to make each frame contain an art concept. He claims that “ the most important factor that differ photography from other art categories is its ability to freeze the time and make it eternal”.
ALPER AYIK, IT MANAGER
Founder, IT manager and designer of Image Hunters, Alper AYIK (Alex), got his Bachelor Degree on Business Administration. While he is a Network Engineer, currently he is studying Master of IT at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He met his first computer at 7 years old. In following years he mastered his skills in computers and took his first step into photography world in 1999. As he started photography as a hobby, he loved it more and more and made it his occupation. He worked in a photography studio for 2 years, and experienced in portrait and studio photography. After he moved to Sydney at 2005, he integrated his actual profession, computers into photography, and he mastered in digital photography. At the same time, he became professional on graphic designing, and worked in a several projects such as web site, logo designing and 3D architectural designs and renderings.
